My biggest regret would be how I never pushed myself enough
in baseball and basketball, even though I still reached my dream of playing college
baseball. I just know I could have worked so much harder in so many aspects of
the game. From lifting, to getting up a
ton of shots after or before practice, long tossing more, taking more swings
etc. It is the little things in sports that make an average player a great
player because in all sports, it’s a game of inches. Everything matters to the
game. The only way to turn around this
regret is to prove myself in college, I am blessed I can play college baseball
and I am thankful every day I get to play the game I love. In other words, I
get another chance to improve on what I know I am capable of.
Having
regrets can relate to the course theme of community because everyone is not
perfect, everybody has regrets and wish they could take back something in their
life. They have to live through that together as one and that is just the way
life and the world works.
I can definitely relate to this post. Even though I did reach my dream of playing sports in college as well, I didn't push my self as hard as I could have. Altogether, this was a good blog post and many people can relate to it on different levels.
