Political Community

A political community is when a set group of people believe and have political thoughts or mindsets. A political part of the community can affect the mood of a community by the beliefs of the people that live in the community.
A way that it can be unhealthy to have a political community is that there is always someone who doesn’t agree with the majority. Which is alright because everybody has their own belief and that is their right. But this same act Is how a riot can start and lead into violent actions because of the political beliefs from someone or a group of people. For example, in the chronicle a Republican Senator John McCain said “I am worried about the National Security Council. ... The appointment of Mr. Bannon is something which is a radical departure from any National Security Council in history.” Which does sound like a serious problem and people aren’t happy about the National Security Council. On the other hand, in the Atlantic, Yarvin has an idea of the rule by the people doesn’t work and has a political movement that is a philosophy that is a rejection of democracy and a embrace of autocratic rule. Bannon and Yarvin have signs of contacting each other which has community’s scared. When communities are scarred it can actually turn positive because them having the same thought of something being bad can bring them together as one and become from what was unhealthy to being healthy.

I feel always if you have an unhealthy community and something let’s say, when 9/11 happened I am sure in New York there were communities that didn’t like each other and then after it happened they came together and helped one another in their tough time in need. Everyone needs someone when they are going through tough time and a community member can always be that one person or several to help you through it to then create that healthy community. Reaching out and being there for someone really I a big step towards having your community healthy and well structured.

Anything Blog- What Could Have Been

From the time I could walk my father wanted me to be a golfer. My dad played golf at Van Wert High School, about an hour south of Defiance. He then started his career at Toledo University where he played on the golf team until after his sophomore year where he didn’t really have fun because of their lack of talent. He then transferred to The University Of New Mexico where they were top fifteen in the nation. My father is now a Golf Professional and has made me play ever since. Going forth towards high school I was forced to play, even when the High school Football coach asked me to play football to be a quarterback. Me not wanting to practice made me not go to my full potential as a golfer. My father believed it was my best sport and if I would have practiced probably would have went Division I, but me not enjoying the game I thought at the time wasn’t the right decision. I loved the game of baseball and decided I wanted to play college baseball so I never focused on golfing (what my father wanted me to do and achieve at). Looking back at it I do think I made the right decision because of my love for the game and the enjoyment the game of baseball gives me. Then again it would have been a lot cheaper and college would have been a lot more affordable if I had practiced and played Division I Golf.
