After realizing that we only have a
couple weeks of school it really made me sit back and think about my first year
at Defiance College. I realized that I shouldn’t of slacked off in my first
midterm of college. I didn’t know what to expect and I truly was not prepared
for the experience. I was ready to play baseball I really think that was the
only thing I was focused on, when I should have worried about doing homework
and not procrastinating. If I had to give advice to incoming freshman next year
it would be this, do not procrastinate, worry about the task at hand, be
organized, and have fun but not too much fun because time flies in college, and
you won’t believe it will until you’re already done with the first year in a
blink of an eye.
I like what oyu have so far, Zac. One recommendation I have for you to make your paragraph have a bit more meat on the bone is to add an example of two of how procrastination came to bite you in the butt. This would add a personal connection to the story for you and the reader.
